Black Moth Super Rainbow Record With Dave Fridmann, Announce New LP Release Date

We love Tobacco, but we love Moth's even more. That's why we're very excited by the news that Black Moth Super Rainbow has officially announced the details and release date for the follow-up to the amazing Dandelion Gum. Including an album MP3 teaser and the fact that manning the boards for their new record is none other than Flaming Lips producer Dave Fridmann.

The pairing with Fridmann makes a lot of sense considering the fact that they could be compared sonically (who would've guessed you could ever say that about The Flaming Lips?). But we're sure it had more to do with the tour they did together last year -- probably sharing stories of what it's like to unwillingly slide from indie phenoms to being revered by drug toting, jam-band kids.

Aside from naming their producer, the press-release also states that the upcoming record will be entitled Eating Us and will come out on May 26 via Graveface. Always ones to include special packaging -- scratch and sniff vinyl sets the bar pretty high -- the deluxe version of the CD will feature "a hairy summer jewel case jacket." Along with the artwork and track listing (below), the fine people at Graveface have offered up this insanely tasty MP3 sampler of what's to come.
