N.A.S.A. Record Release Show @ Le Poisson Rouge | NYC

The new poster children of trend made an appearance last night in NYC to celebrate the release of The Spirit Of Apollo, and our very own Maia Stern reported back with the photographic evidence. She let us know that Spike Jonze's brother Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zegon -- better known as N.A.S.A. -- brought the party, but like you would expect for a group who uses so many guests on their recording, their live show was a bit short on the substance side.

Aside from N.A.S.A., DJs set by Devlin & Darko and Eli Escobar warmed the crowd up while screenings of their music videos and Shepard Fairey's art were projected. Overall, it turned out to be a fun evening with lots of gyrating; only made slightly uncomfortable when the three female back-up dancers who were painted green and wearing silver jumpsuits and the gorilla and zombie who danced with them, made an appearance. Aside from Maia's testimony that one of the girls looked like she was on drugs, the dancers blocked any hopes of watching N.A.S.A. perform.
