NYC: Dark Was The Night Listening Party
- story THE FADER
If you like monthly listening parties and sweet jams, then we have an event for you! The Red Hot Organization, an international charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS, is hosting their first party in conjunction with Insound and Beggars/Matador (and The FADER!) this Friday, February 6th, at Stanton Public, with dates in LA and Chicago to follow. The party celebrates the release of the Dark Was The Night compilation featuring new exclusive tracks from Arcade Fire, Kevin Drew, David Byrne, Cat Power, Feist, Bon Iver, Yeasayer and many more FADER favorites. Members of The National, Blonde Redhead and Yeasayer will be manning the decks while we all enjoy the open Budweiser Bar from 8pm-10pm. Full flyer after the jump and RSVP here.
