Grizzly Bear Announces Veckatimest Tour

After the increasing success of 2006's Yellow House, it looks like one of our favorite Brooklyn animal-themed-bands Grizzly Bear has come out of their studio recording-hibernation to announce the supporting tour for their highly anticipated new album, Veckatimest.

The album, which will be released on Warp Records May 26, was produced by Grizzly Bear member Chris Taylor, and we're hoping the new album employs the signature elements of the band's experimental sounds heard on Yellow House. The twelve track album enlists the help of composer Nico Muhly and Victoria LeGrand of Beach House to help enhance Grizzly Bear's already stellar sound.

Upon releasing Veckatimest, Grizzly Bear will then be heading out on tour in support of the album at the end of May. The band will kick off their loaded month of touring in Portland, Oregon, making their way throughout the U.S. on the 22-date tour, including performances at both the Sasquatch Festival and Bonnaroo.
