In the lineup for Better History, an exhibit of NY contemporary art that opens tonight at the 7Eleven gallery in Chelsea, we were psyched to see our boy Harry Mcnally of Pegleg in there alongside artists like Tom Sachs, Fab 5 Freddy and Francesco Clemente. Apparently, Tom Sachs has been holding pre-show demos of his artwork including a homemade shotgun that fires into a steel chamber. Art by the Neistat Brothers, Harry's studio neighbors, are pieces to look out for in the show too. More after the jump.
Piece by Robert S. L. Waltzer & Gordon Stevenson, Abstract Neon Paintings, 2007.
