As the saying goes, it's not over until the fat lady sings, but in the case of California-based band Iglu & Hartly it looks like it's not over until their band members sheds their clothes at SXSW and assault a hotel security guard instead.
Jarvis Anderson, the 25-year-old vocalist/keyboard player of Iglu & Hartly -- otherwise known as Michael Anderson Jarvis -- was arrested early Thursday morning after running amok at the Hilton hotel with fellow band member, Samuel Martin. The two men were allegedly stripping themselves of their pants and shirts, on the 6th floor of the building, where they tried to play the hotel's bar piano. The hotel Security guard interrupted the streaking-duo, asking them to put their clothes back on, but Jarvis refused the request and proceeded to repeatedly punch the guard in the face.
Jarvis was arrested and charged with assault on a public servant, which is a third degree felony. The Mercury Records band was scheduled to play a gig at the Blind Pig on Thursday afternoon, but according to myfoxaustin.com it is still unclear if the full band made the show.
