Dim Mak Tuesday's at Los Angeles' Cinespace last night offered some surprising sights. Not only was it Busy P's birthday celebration, hosting a variety of DJs in the mix, but a surprise set by one half of Daft Punk, made fans go crazy for more reasons than one.
Thomas Bangalter, half of our favorite French house-DJ duo, Daft Punk, made an appearance at the Cinespace last night after a host of DJ's played at the party, according to Stereogum. Bangalter jumped on stage to take over the noise, leaving the crowd freaking out; not only because the infamous DJ was playing a surprise set, but because he was without his famous helmet on stage.
Bangalter, adorned in a grey Nike T and sunglasses played three songs helmet-less at the event, revealing that he really is human after all to his screaming fans. It looks like he stole the party, but we have to say, we're still not sure what we like better; the helmet or the helmet-less. To see more from his DJ set, go here.
