The Love Language - "Sparxxx"

They played our showcase in Austin and have just released their self-titled debut album, and we couldn't help but jump onto the praise-train of The Love Language. The one-man, lo-fi sound produced by the seven piece band is just too good not to receive a buzz-worthy status, so we thought we'd give you a look at the video from the band's new single "Sparxxx" so you can see and hear for yourselves just how good these North Carolina, "Etta James kicking heroin" guys' sound.

Aside from "Sparxxx" just being a straight up great song, full of harmonic vocals, tambourine rhythms and an infectious melody, the video is completely endearing; leaving you with an usual craving for some chocolate cake... in a bathtub, by the end of it. The band has undeniable sound similarities to the like of The Strokes and The Walkmen on the track "Sparxxx", but with a seven piece live band, they manage to have a particular edge. The band's new self-titled album is available via Bladen County Records, and they are currently on tour in support of the album release.
