We kinda wanna respond to this song like, “Thank you god for soundtracking the Summer of Love ‘09 with all these super stony lo-fi Cali-style guitar bands” and also “Thank you god for inventing Hawaiian print shirts, not that we are going to wear them but we just feel better knowing they exist.” The Intelligence is a band from Portland where the surfing is really not that popping unless you’re prepared to ride the tiny waves of a dirty river—hence, perhaps, their album title Fake Surfers.
