Lucky Fans Find Bonus 7-Inch With Unreleased Tracks In Check Your Head Reissue

In case you didn't know, we're currently giving away one of the Beastie Boys Check Your Head re-issue packages. And in that contest post we linked to a video of a guy opening the deluxe re-issue and finding a special 7". Now we know why.

It's sort of like Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, only The Beastie Boys are Willy Wonka and you could be finding that golden ticket -- some lucky fans who ordered the Check Your Head vinyl collector's edition have found a little surprise inside: two brand spankin' new tracks.

It's a seven-inch record with two new, unreleased songs, and it hasn't been found in every copy of the collector's set. There's no way to know how many sets might have the bonus record, but the best way to find out is to enter our contest to win your own copy of the reissue. (You've only got till Friday, so hurry up!)

The two tracks are called "Lee Majors Come Again" and "B Boys in the Cut." The second is a capella, and apparently its ending comes from the "My New Name is Larry" routine the boys have been doing in their live show for the last few years.

Oh, and here's that video:
