The indie world is amok with affluent white kids who wear loafers and v-necks, which is in stark contrast to the recent implosion of extroverted diy hipsters that now fill the air-Wavves with lo-fi, three-chord pop songs. This is why a band like White Rabbits — who are more authentic than affluent and more intro- than extroverted — stands just outside and above both cliches.
