Currently on trial for murder, Max B is in the fight of his life and releases “Never Wanna Go Back” from the perspective of already having spent nearly a decade of his life behind bars. The beat, produced by frequent Max collaborator Young Los, who Max once told us
he imported from Ohio, sounds like something Wu-Tang should have been rapping over when they decided to shake things up a bit for Iron Flag. Understandably, there’s a #freemaxb twitter campaign going on right now and “Never Wanna Go Back” would be as strong an argument as any.
