Seattle grunge landmarks Alice in Chains are set to release their first new studio release in over a decade. Entitled Black Gives Way To Blue, the full-length also marks the band's first since the death of band co-founder Layne Staley in 2002. Lead vocals have now been handed over to William DuVall, the former Comes With The Fall vocalist who stepped in during AIC's most recent reunion tour. Headlining dates in Europe are already scheduled as are some European festival shows alongside Metallica. Oh yeah, they're also playing with Kid Rock at Comerica Park in Detroit next month. Probably best to skip that one and wait for more North American dates, but do what you feel!
