Rotten Tomatoes featured an interview with New Moon director Chris Weitz last week in which the Twilight sequel's director went deep on the film's still germinating soundtrack. Why was this of note? Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke was said to be interested in contributing an original song. But according to Pitchfork, Weitz is now confirming that Yorke has in fact written a song to be included on the soundtrack and the American Pie director will get a chance to hear it for the first time today. "Unless it's sounds of him belching," Weitz said, "I think I'll put it in."
But wait! There's more! Yorke has esteemed company: Wisconsin bard and nascent philanthropist Bon Iver has also been confirmed as a contributor to the soundtrack. This is all pretty weird.
