Video: Crocodiles, “Hollow Hollow Eyes”
- story Sam Hockley-Smith
Although the 7-inch seems to be the preferred format for bands like Crocodiles to get a couple jams out into the world quickly and without fuss, we’ve always imagined them as more of an album group. Maybe someday down the line the screechy dissonance and guitar nob trickery that ends this live performance of “Hollow Hollow Eyes” (shot by the dudes at Yours Truly) will bleed into another awesome song in the middle of a solid album. Then everyone will stop worrying about who the Crocodiles are biting (wokka wokka) and just be like, “Who even cares because this shit is catchy and fun.”
