There's something about a well-placed saxophone that screams WEDDING JAMZ, and Japanese psych outfit Yura Yura Teikoku have that down pat. Normally we'd expect them to get much weirder, but "Hollow Me" sounds like aging gracefully, the audio equivalent of when you dance with your mom at your own wedding and everyone looks really proud of each other. But then that saxophone skronks a bit, just slightly jumping off the rails and suddenly it becomes less about that proud wedding dance and more like slipping off to smoke a joint with your uncle in the bathroom on the low.
