Daft Punk to Tweak Your Wii, PS3, XBox 360

While Jay-Z, Eminem and DJ Shadow have each done their part in promoting the latest in console rock, the hip-hop heavyweights only cater to one portion of the ever expanding "let's just play some virtual music, y'all" market. Activision, the company who brought us games like Doom 3-D and Wolfenstein (not the original, but, still, pretty cool), knows a thing or two about reaching out to the people, hence the company acquiring the rights to both the likeness and the music of French-electro pioneers Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, better known amongst MDMA-dealers as "Mutha Fuckin' Daft Punk." As of October 30th, aka Mischief Night, gamers, and people who like to play video games but are "too cool" to refer to themselves as "gamers," will be able to pick up a copy of DJ Hero and act out their role playing fantasies by taking a virtual walk up the neon pyramid and slaying the minds (and spines) of thousands of tweaking kids in UFO pants, or, ugh, your passed out roommate who keeps farting on the couch.
