A while back it was reported that Daft Punk had signed on to score Tron, a film not about the lovable crackhead who becomes the world's richest man by turning slave reparations into billions in a hot game of dice, but rather that crazy intergalactic Disney/Jeff Bridges movie from 1982. However, yesterday, Olivia Wilde, who stars in Tron Legacy, the sequel to the much-beloved Tron, spilled the beans to MTV that not only would Daft Punk score the film, but Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, or at least some dudes dressed like Guy & Thom, actually appear in the film. No word yet on whether or not Kanye will sample their score, remix their appearance, super impose himself in the scene and release Tron Legacy: The Yeezy Years, a visual representation of Tron as a blipster. Tron Legacy hits theaters in December 2010. The Yeezy remix drops next week.
