Carly Margolis usually mixes up an inspirational cocktail of about five influences when she goes to work on a collection—science fiction, mythology, tribalism, futurism and something ancient—and the five marvelous plimsolls she’s designed for Keds are a gorgeous tongue-in-cheek combo of them all. There’s an accompanying video on the site that shows Margolis crafting necklaces up in her studio in the Catskills, a stellar line of jewelry that we posted last week. The collaboration has been up for a month, but we still haven’t decided which of the design elements to slip our toesies into yet. Do we opt for Sweetheart Feet?
