From Mr. Christopher DeSilvis: The obsessive sector of the Phish community, the crazies who endure 3-4 hour pre-show lines to get their hands on the limited edition show prints that the band is now famous for offering, were in for a real treat during the MSG run. Jim Pollock, who started out doing pen and ink flyers for the band in the late 1980′s when they were still relatively unknown at the University of Vermont, was commissioned to create the official print. Jim’s style lends itself perfectly to the quirkiness of the band and their legions of loyal followers. These days the band usually reserves Jim for the most special of occasions—their triumphant return to Madison Square Garden was just that. Check it out after the juh-ump.
