Remember that time we used the word "genius" when describing Pete Doherty? We've been re-thinking that statement ever since and you know, we were dead wrong. Embarrassingly so. He may be well-read and he may be a man who knows his way around turns of phrase better than most, but it's safe to say he's not the "g" word. No, Pete Doherty is a bonehead. Just moments after being spared jail time for a dangerous driving incident, Doherty was re-arrested this morning while attempting to leave the Gloucester Crown Court. A source/onlooker told the Sun that a "clingfilm" was seen falling out of Doherty's pocket just before he was frisked going in. "The security man picked it up and saw it contained what looked like little blue crystals," the source said. Police were then beckoned and they gathered round to wait for Doherty's trial to end. When it did, they arrested him again. Game over.
For next time: do not show up to courtroom with drugs on your person.
