Great news, right? Guitarist Ed O’Brien took to the band’s website to talk about the past year, plans for next and to let us know that after some great touring in Latin America, the vibe in the band is “fantastic at present.” That said, there’s been some similarly fantastic video of Thom Yorke rabblerousing last week at the climate summit proceedings in Copenhagen floating around the web, video of which we’ll put up after the leap. The first few words of O’Brien’s post? “I haven’t spoken to Thom yet, but judging by his entries here and reading today’s papers the outcome of Copenhagen is a bloody disgrace…” Semi-silver lining? I think we know what the lyrical focus is going to be on the next Radiohead record, dudes!

People have put their faith in Gore, who’s home uses 20 times the energy of a normal house. Do these people know that the polar icecaps have been shrinking on Mars? This has been known since 2006. As far as I know there are not any SUVs on Mars. One more thing.. how much carbon was dispensed with this idiotic summit? Hey Thom.. how did you get there? Did you just burn us all up a little more w/commercial, or were you, like the rest of the phoney big shots, flying privately, picked up by limos, staying in oh-so-fine hotels with big-screen TVs, etc. This is the biggest scam ever perpetrated upon mankind, and proves PT Barnum to be absolutely spot on.
