Just to get it out of the way: Pitchfork, how are you not going to mention Bill’s new haircut? That mane is lush and flowing for a man of his age. Clearly his relocation to Austin has influence more than just Callahan’s drawl. “Faith/Void,” Callahan’s new album Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle’s closer, is a confident ramble, performed here live last night in Ohio on the first evening of his in store tour.
