Darker My Love and Audacity Get Under The Covers, Make Moderately Attractive Vinyl Baby

The Los Angeles-based 7-inch kings at I Hate Rock N' Roll are making a big rustle under the covers. Which is why they've taken it upon themselves to develop the Under The Covers series. The idea: two very different bands produce new interpretations of each others' songs, place results in one neatly packaged 7". Hot shit, sirs! Darker My Love and Audacity are the two chosen ones to launch Under The Covers: Vol 1. You can order the sweet candy right here, if you feel so inclined to buy something that has the potential to blow that fitted sheet right off your sleep station! Check out one of the originals, Audacity's "Mr. Alvarez" after the jump.

Also, Stay tuned for Vol. 2, a full-length comp landing in February/March that pays tribute to the founding members of power-pop pioneers The Nerves, Plimsouls, Breakaways and The Beats. Those tipping their hats? Tripwire faves The Fresh and Onlys, Grass Widow, So Cow, and Davila 666, to name a few. This year feels great so far, dudes!
