Los Angeles duo VoicesVoices played a show with recent FADER favorite Light Asylum last night in Brooklyn, but we missed it because of some really good reason we seem to have forgotten already. We will not make the same mistake when they return in a week to launch a tour with Prefuse 73 and Gaslamp Killer—during which they'll collabo with Scott Herren and vice versa onstage—because listening to VV's music in the office is inappropriate as we're not supposed to cry tears of anguish in here, and also because its drum-heavy psychedelia probably sounds a lot better coming out of big speakers. "Origins" will appear on the VoicesVoices' Origins EP on Manimal Vinyl, home to fellow Pacific sirens Warpaint, on January 26th.
