Alright time out. Before we get to the song, can we just talk about that cover art for a second? Done by long-time Drive by Truckers collaborator Wes Freed, it is a monkey in a vest wrangling some kind of massive black swan/crow/beast of the sky. We haven't had time to figure out what that means to "This Fucking Job," which might be one of the more depressingly listenable songs about settling on something to make a living. But hey, dig out that copy of Crime Pays and put it on right after Cam's "My Job," and it'll be a perfect 1-2 punch to cap off volume 23 of our What's Up With The Economy? mixtape series.
