Dust off that swan dress and start playing with Legos again -- two of Europe's most weirdly adorable artists, French director Michel Gondry and Icelandic avant-pop icon Bjork, are getting ready to work together. On what, you might ask? Well...we don't know. Neither do Gondry and Bjork, for that matter. Gondry dropped the following nugget of info to Entertainment Weekly: “It’s very undefined, so it’s hard to give more precision.” So, to recap: two strange people are working on something strange -- and it's so strange, that neither of them know what, exactly, it is.
The secret project (whatever it is) would be far from the first time Bjork and Gondry have joined forces; Gondry has directed many of Bjork's videos, including the now-legendary clips for "Human Behaviour" and "Declare Independence". In the meantime, the funny, flight-of-fancy Frenchman is far from laying low -- in addition to wrapping up work on the Seth Rogen-starring comic-book action jam The Green Lantern, he recently directed a clip for LA singer-songwriter Mia Doi Todd's "Open Your Heart," which you can check out after the jump. As for Bjork? She's probably at home throwing nickels in the oven or something.
