Vampire Weekend Now Appropriating White Music As Well

We know. They're hopeless, right? During their current trek through the UK, the men of Vampire Weekend stopped by the BBC’s Maida Vale studio last week to record a session for Radio 1’s Zane Lowe. Instead of doing their usual, they decided to lay down a relatively polite, delay-smeared cover of Rancid's "Ruby Soho" instead. You can have a listen over at Abeano right now and while you're there check out a Minimix the band's Rostam Batmanglij spliced together for  the Annie Mac show. In addition to the 6th's "As You Turn To Go" and Vampy Week's "Taxi Cab," Batmanglij also re-imagined Lykke Li's very beautiful "Dance Dance Dance." The Swedes are probably so pissed right now!
