If you’re not, you’re about to anyway. Mimicking Birds is the chief songwriting vehicle of Portland’s Nate Lacy, whose Brock-produced debut LP is dropping via that very wingnut’s own Glacial Pace Recordings imprint on March 9th. Seconds into the heartache and hush of “Cabin Fever,” it’s clear why Brock would want to help bring more songs like this one into the world.
