This past weekend we traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for the Show of Shows International Militaria Exhibition. Militaria collectible culture is deeply interesting/awesome/disturbing. For example: you have old dudes recalling stories of being "in the shit," you have a lot of nerdy dudes walking around selectively shopping for gear, you have random dudes really into Nazis and you have guns everywhere. People are generally stoked on military tactics and making things blow up/people die, but being the true New Yorkers we are, we were just there to shop for clothes and don't really dig on that stuff. After the jump, some photos by our friend Nathan of the show cataloging some sweet finds within the building roughly the size of three Wal-Marts, including the footlocker our other friend Garrett got with the original owner's name handpainted on it.
