SXSW 2010: You are CORDIALLY Invited to The Garden Party

SXSWGardenParty

If you've been trolling the musicnerdisphere over the past few weeks you've probably become quite aware that SXSW and its promise of beer and BBQ'd jams is incoming. That said, we're very proud to announce that in addition to our usual curatorial/celebratory duties elsewhere in Austin, we're also sponsoring The Garden Party this year, as presented by our friends at Press Here and Domino Publishing Co. It's all happening on Saturday, March 20 at the French Legation Museum from 12 noon to 8 pm. As you can see on the beautiful, Bjorn Copeland-designed poster above, the line-up includes the equally beautiful sounds of Frightened Rabbit, YACHT, Sweet Apple, Karen ElsonGruff Rhys, The Kissaway Trail, Admiral Radley (featuring Jason Lytle of Grandaddy and Aaron Espinoza of Earlimart), Villagers, Malachai and Laurel Collective. We'll be posting daily on all of those artists as we inch closer towards Saturday's hangout so stay as tuned as the law permits.
