Weirder shit has happened. We admit we still feel a little but guilty about the last time we told you that you might be in the running to be the newest member of a megafamous rock band. You applied and then kept hitting us up on the e-mail to see when you might hear back and well, that one time it totally did go to the Junk folder. But the next four, yeah, those were on us. And then it turned out the band was totally fine and they’ll be on the road again soon, loving in elevators like nothing ever happened. Classic Joey and Steve.
Anyway, this time we swear the gig is for real. Billy Corgan is looking for some new bandmates. He’s already found one, a drummer, a young gun that came to him by way of the Web. So if you’re a bassist or have some keyboard skills, read the following very closely.
Bassists and keyboardists looking to play with The Pumpkins should send their background info (including age, a resume of any bands/recorded work), photos and performance web links via email only, either to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. Note: only musicians with video clips can be considered. Youtube.com type posts are perfect–that’s how Mike was found. Final date for submission is March 31st.
That’s how Mike was found. “Youtube.com type post.” So good.
