In the spirit of Prince, Kellz writes an homage to a potential sidechick over guitar funk, a kind of inverse “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man.” He also seems to be serenading every woman in this overly-packed pool party of a clip, from the bikini girls to the Eyes Wide Shut-masked showgirls. However, for most of the video, the camera never quite focuses on Kellz’ face, instead catching him from awkward, behind-the-ear angles, or onstage from the back of the crowd through a thousand outstretched arms. Surely this was just a function of the party’s over-capacity venue, but we like to think it mirrors Kellz lyrics—he is an elusive, slithery, sharply dressed playboy, someone you can glimpse from afar and maybe even touch, but will never be able to entirely know. It’s cool though. Clearly his homeboys are willing to help you out.

Very interesting sounds for R-kelly amazing being in the NYC area havent heard anything from his last album at all.
Jack Splash! Nice work, people need to get up on this dude!
Though I can’t keep thinking that in light of Mr. Kelly’s issues with urination, he might not want to be singing about “number 2″, but he’s never been one to do the tactful thing.
oops I meant “Though I can’t HELP thinking that in light of Mr. Kelly’s (alleged) issues with urination, he might not want to be singing about “number 2″…. but he’s never been one to do the tactful thing.”
