Shipley & Halmos are said to have a studio filled with all kinds of unrelated fashion artifacts—old movie posters, random vintage photography—all loosely grouped under the “found object” umbrella. Sam Shipley recently started drawing pictures of their miscellaneous inventory and is posting his sketches on a new blog called Numerous Drawings. The website reads like an open doodle pad for the designer’s inspiration, and every day something new catches his eye, like an old pair of flamming red chucks or a glimpse of Kate Moss on the box—an illustrated still from 60 Seconds that might end up being our new screen saver.
