Last summer, before she had a record deal with Sub Pop, and before she really even had a full band, Dee Dee of Dum Dum Girls took us on Cali road trip in FADER Issue #62. She drove down the PCH with our photographer Justin Maxon and visited with Crocodiles, Family Time and Wavves. It made us want to buy a car for the first time since high school. And now, her band's debut I Will Be finally exists in the real world in all its glory, an exemplar of rock & roll badassness that actually surpasses our expectations when she wrote the story for us so many months ago. Way to go, Dee Dee! Also, they all wore crazy tights to maximum swoon effect at SXSW this year, which we would say "way to go" to also if it didn't make us sound perv. Listen to I Will Be below and buy it somewhere else.
