The real housewives of Atlanta aren't going places; Kandi Burruss is. For two seasons Bravo took audiences into the homes of some high-maintenance ladies from the A, only to find out the obvious: they're not that skilled outside of spending money on trying to outdo each other. The ex-member of Xscape was the only cast member to put her best foot forward (without putting it in another cast member's rear end) by launching her career as a solo singer after being a multi-platinum songwriter for TLC, and P!nk.
While we patiently wait for Kandi's full-length album, The Fly Above-EP has been in rotation on iTunes as of early 2010. Some of the songs she mentions in her Suite903TV interview though might be from her independently-released EP. She's now labelmates with Gucci Mane, and Shawty Lo, as one of the newest members of Asylum Records, where Kandi will soon drop her major label debut. Watch as she takes us through a brief history as making history in the '90s with Xscape, TLC, and her experience on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
