We can see Swappi becoming a slight obsession around here: not only does his Trini Carnival 2010 hit “Mi Nah Go Play” meld traditional soca rhythms with the accordion impulses of cumbia, but he added a new entry into our slangxicon, describing “swappiness” in this interview as “my terminology for above sexiness, the evolution of swanky.” His swank evolution is evident in this live performance where he is wearing a blue velvet blazer and red trousers (hella swappi).
