Stream: Chemical Brothers, “Escape Velocity”

April 07, 2010

The Chemical Brothers new album, Further, is set to come out on June 8th, and for those of you old enough to remember the days of Exit Planet Dust, it is a welcome return to basics. No big name guest vocalists, no outright pop songs, but plenty of ecstatic jams like this new stream of song seven on the album, "Escape Velocity." At 12 minutes, it's the epic of the record, but if you drink a half gallon of Muscle Milk before you listen, it flies right by (and your quads and glutes get sick). The album will also include a DVD of specially created visuals for each track created by Marcus Lyall and Adam Smith, aka Flat Nose George, who's been responsible for creating the visual backdrop for Chemical Brothers live shows since 1994. So for those of you who have giant flatscreens, you will finally be able to have that homerave you've been talking about forever. (via OneThirtyBPM via P4k)
