What, no one loves Jamie Foxx anymore? We were pretty into “Quit Your Job” but that make approximately zero impact on anyone. Admittedly, “Body,” with production from The-Dream and Tricky Stewart is not going to be a radio hit like “Blame it on the Alcohol,” but is notable for its total lack of structure. The main percussion is finger snaps, there are bomb drop sounds that sound like they came from an iPhone game and the hi-hats sound like a speedy metronome. J-fizzle, lemme tell you like this: NOT GOOD! THe only thing that sounded good was his voice, but the lyrics and so-called music, trash. I expect better, Foxx. I don’t think you care about good music anymore or are you trying to top Blame it?
