Hear M.I.A.'s New Jam, Discover Inner 17-Year Old Shithead All Over Again

So here's the thing: We're not punks. Our massive sweater collection and our day job sort of killed that vibe. But then again, neither is M.I.A. The line "I don't want to talk about money, cuz I've got it" was the first thing that tipped us off. But damned if this doesn't spark that thing in anyone that loved rock music when they were like 16 years old and just wanted to rebel against anything and everything that didn't have a loud drum beat. Or something like that. After a quick glance at our skimpy record collection and Google we're pretty sure (and FADER confirms) this track uses a gnarly Suicide sample ("Ghost Rider" we believe). There's not a whole lot of background info on this track yet, but something tells us this won't be the last we hear from this M.I.A. as the countdown to her next LP continues to wind down.
