Food Thyme: Behind The Scenes at IFC’s Food Party

April 27, 2010

It wasn't so long ago that Food Party was just another weird video pet project by a group of friends at the Cleveland Institute of Art. A few years and a major network sponsorship later, one of our favorite shows since Wayne's World is back on IFC for a second season—and this time with a whole twenty episodes instead of six. We got to take a sneak peak inside their Greenpoint production studio, and what we found was not so much the making of a television show but just a bunch of good friends hanging out and making hilarious art videos. Creator, Thu Tran, and puppet master, Daniel Baxter, were on set to show us some of their favorite props and clue us in on what we can expect from future episodes. With titles like "PBJ Love," "Cannibal Holiday," and "Poopisode," season two will most likely entertain, disgust and make us want another invite to the party.

Tune in to IFC tonight for two episodes of Food Party starting at 10pm EST.
