When studying abroad in college, we decided it prudent to take a weekend to explore Oslo, Norway. We left broke (beers are insanely expensive there!) but with a few memories to our name as well. One night, while stumbling back to the hostel, we walked by a street performer covering Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" through a baby amp in light rain. We stopped and listened and racked our brains trying to remember where in the hell we'd heard that melody. Then it came to us: sixth grade! Black long sleeve tees! Bedroom headbanging! Growling like James Hetfieldas fiercely as a squeaky vocal cords would let us! Anyway, Lissie has one-upped herself here by taking on the Black Album highlight shortly after sharing a fantastic Lady Gaga cover from the very same session. Her voice sounds great as does her Tele. We're swimming in flashbacks, check out some Tripwire original video after the jump.
