If you’re getting impatient for Love King to drop, you could do worse than spending some time with the singles from Ciara‘s upcoming Basic Instinct, which was executive produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. While first single “Ride” initially seemed like a weak attempt at recapturing the magic of “Oh,” it’s been growing on us (also holy shit have you seen the video?). “Run It,” meanwhile, is basically a Dream song with female vocals. Wouldn’t it be weird if he actually did sing this and just pitched his vocals up?

Nobody is waiting for Love King. Sorry to break it to ya. And I wasn’t aware Dream wrote like a woman.
We really must try to improve these overly simplistic reviews on this site. Really.
who is this ciara person?
These days this comment string spends all its time being too cool. I knew this comment string was a little pretentious in undergrad, but when they moved to back to BK I was like damn I don’t even know you anymore.
EVERYONE is waiting for Love King.
EVERYONE and i mean, EVERYONE is waiting for Love King. The-dream hasn’t missed yet.
