Things got a little wily yesterday with rich media, everything we felt moved to post a video of some sort. There’s more content of the audio/visual variety on the way but for the dying mp3′s sake, we’re kicking off Thursday by sharing an acoustibanger from someone we’re more excited about with each listen: Villagers aka Conor J. O’Brien. In horrible weather conditions, the Dublin native killed at the Garden Party we sponsored in Austin at SXSW. He did the same on Jools Holland not long after that. “Becoming A Jackal” is the titular first single from his forthcoming Domino debut Becoming A Jackal. It is slightly better than “The Jackal” starring Richard Gere and Bruce Willis. Just kidding, it’s way better—Gere’s Irish accent in that movie was so wack.
