Now, the upcoming Katy Perry album will be a mere three characters different than the latest Beach House album (she saw their Teen Dream and raised them a Teenage Dream), and they are having none of it. Is mainstream pop trying to bank on the mass-marketability of indie right now? No, because it’s not really all that mass marketable. Duh.
