Up until now, Drake not getting airplay on radio would seem near impossible. Like Jay-Z did back in the '90s, he stretched the game out, X'd your name [insert rapper here] out, put his on top, and has dropped singles non-stop. The buck may stop here with Drizzy's turn to the darkside, the Gully Side to be exact by filming his video for "Find Your Love" in one of Jamaica's most notorious neighborhoods.
The violence in Jamaica is real, and sadly youth violence is usually over foolish things like girls and pride. While this video goes quite perfectly with the song, the timing may affect the love it gets due to yesterday's events. No sense in making Drake a scapegoat for it because nobody sees these things coming. The story he's telling is not a fantastical one or technically glorifying the negativity in anyway. The idea of love is still the main factor even if falling in love with the Gully God's girl probably is the worst idea of all time. We've got love for Mavado but are you really mad the girl got with Drake? Just saying.
