Beck, Bat for Lashes Unite for "Twilight"

The miracles of the Twilight franchise never cease. While Edward and Bella continue to instruct the world's preteens in the fine art of abstaining in the face of preternatural lust, the music directors over in Forks, Washington have been working overtime on the proper soundtrack to amplify the dichotomy of "terrific longing" and "totally not doing it." Perhaps pitying these youths, or at least relating to their plight, they've replaced the demon intercourse with an interchange: the miraculous union of Beck and Bat for Lashes, who collaborated on "Let's Get Lost" for Eclipse, the series' third installment. At this point we can only imagine how the musicians' impulses of melodrama (Bat for Lashes) and ennui (Beck) blended, but one thing is for sure: if a normal human girl can fall in love with a sparkly vampire AND an oversized werewolf, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. ANYTHING, THAT IS, BUT SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE. See the full tracklist after the jump and a cold shower.
