Even though we don't get to see Nick Catchdubs as often as we'd like, we feel as though he is with us constantly—particularly now giant ads of his face have been plastered all over our subway stations. But with this profoundly great mix he made for Asian Dan, it feels like we're going deeper into his brain than ever before, wiggling like the mind-eating wormhole in the Wrath of Khan—which is appropriate since a lot of the songs sound like the eerie squawking alarms spaceships and various other Twilight Zoney elements. In other words, it's awesome to finally have melded into one with one of our favorite DJs, dudes and former FADER editors—we hope he's cool with becoming vegetarian.
