Dwele is setting the bar high with a laundry list of personal aspirations. He wants to sell music to the masses that it stands out at the top of the desirable things he calls out on "I Wish." He's modest about his mediocrity as a musician, even not having the finer things in life that comes with that success. Accepting that, he knows that there's greater work to be done by addressing those individuals (who could be buying his album) about the more disturbing reality of graduation rates among young black men in his city of Detroit. That's real talk from Dwele. Listen to Dwele's message after the jump, where you can also listen to "I Wish."
