The beautiful irony of Murphy Lee's "Wat Da Hook Gon' Be" was that the line I don't need no fuckin hook on this beat was, in fact, the hook. We fully expect some cheeky young DJ to blend that song with "No Hooks," hopefully leaving the Kenny Dope mix to the veterans. Besides, Lil Silva is way more of a literalist: he injects Dope's sneaky synth line with UK street grit and lets the drum tremors do all the talking.
